What is Project Leap’s Auction Dinner?
Mark your calendars!!! March 27, 2020 is our annual dinner auction, This is such a fun night for parents to enjoy an evening out with friends. This is an opportunity for you to win big ticket items, sports experiences, special teacher & principal time events for your child, and countless other prizes. Please take a look at this information flyer for additional details.
Why do we have an Auction Dinner?
Roaring into the 20’s is also our largest and most important fundraiser of the year. The money raised this night funds our media center programs, personnel, and classroom technology needs. It costs $100,000 to continue operating our award-winning programs. Our generous community has allowed our children at Lee to participate in rigorous, innovative programs! It takes all of us to make a difference!
Here are a few things we are raising money for this school year: Project Lead The Way materials and curriculum, classroom projectors, 1-1 iPads in primary classrooms, classroom printers, credentialed teacher that provides computer science and engineering instruction and a media center instructional aide.

How can you get involved?
Our Project LEAP team is busy getting everything ready and needs your help! Your child will be bringing home an important packet of papers. Each one highlights a different way your family or a company you are connected with can help.
We need donations of all kinds! We especially love experiences like tickets to concerts or shows, backstage tours, sporting events, vacations, time shares etc. We also love items and gift cards. Services like hair cuts, massages, facials and lessons are great, too! Remember that the donation does not need to come from your immediate family, ask people you know and where you shop.
As you solicit, please provide the local business with a copy of this DONOR LETTER which includes Project LEAP’s non-profit tax ID number. Also, when you receive a donation, please complete this DONATION FORM so your child will get credit and get to SPIN THE WHEEL (see below for details on that)!!
We are collecting donations NOW until March 1st. Please contact Jenny Platt at email@example.com if you need someone to pick up the item from you or drop it off in the office for pick up.
Our Auction book is seen by Lee families and friends and featured on our Project LEAP website. It is a great way to advertise your business or get your family or friends to advertise theirs. Submit this AD FORM to buy ad space in our auction book!
Take a look at how your family, place of work or companies you have connections with can be a sponsor. There are different levels and different incentives for each one. Please submit this SPONSORSHIP FORM to contribute.
Attend the Auction
Attend the Auction and invite friends and family to join you. You can also volunteer to help at the auction!
The PRIZE WHEEL
If your family collects or donates an item valued at $50 your child get to spin the prize wheel! For every $50 value they will get a spin. For example, a $100 gift card gets 2 spins. This year’s prizes include a Dance Party, Ice Cream Sundaes with your teachers, Donuts with Mrs. Laughlin, Water Fun after school, Glow Drawing with Mrs. Harbour, Popsicles at Lunch. Your student won’t want to miss out! Don’t forget these donations do not need to come from you, you can ask local businesses, companies, and friends and family you know. Don’t forget to turn in your donation paperwork (described above) with your items so your child gets credit and gets to spin the wheel!
